Major advances have been made in converting analogue signals to digital
Over recent months, Gardner Marine Diesels has been doing substantial research into the possibilities of converting the engine monitoring signals (usually oil pressure, water temperature and RPM) into a digital form to be displayed on new modern wheelhouse chart plotters etc.
We are now testing a completed a system to convert these signals to J1939 signals that should be readable by most modern systems.
