Seawork 2009
The first appearance of Gardner Marine Diesels Seaworks proves a great success.
With much debate this year as to marketing budgets, work levels and demand, it was decided to attend GMD’s first Seawork Commercial show in Southampton Docks. This being the first fully commercial show that we have attended, we were unsure of what reaction we would receive from the commercial world.
We are pleased to say that not one person walked by our gleaming 8LXB exhibition engine on the stand without stopping to ask for more information, or at the very least smiling with fond memories. That aside, there were three serious enquiries regarding engine supply and numerous more regarding servicing and parts supply.
All in all a very successful show.
